Attie Poirier is a Dreams for Kids DC board member and long-time volunteer since first being introduced to the organization by Founder Andrew Horn in December 2009. Originally involved in DFK DC’s legacy Holiday for Hope program, Attie has expanded her non-profit support to include public relations, event planning, fundraising and volunteering at many of DFK’s cornerstone adaptive clinics. An innovative problem solver, she partners with her clients to evaluate their business at the intersection of people, processes, and technology to help develop holistic solutions that further agency missions and achieve remarkable results. Attie currently serves as the product marketing manager for MicroStrategy. She previously helped a management consultant position with Attain, LLC where she supported organizational strategy, business intelligence, and business process improvement projects for federal clients. Prior to joining Attain, Attie worked in the communications department at American Red Cross National Headquarters in Washington, D.C. She graduated from the College of William and Mary with a degree in business administration and marketing.
